So we've finished your site and it's ready to go. Where do you put it?

Most ISP's give you space for your website as part of their dial-up or high-speed package. Your URL (Internet address) will most likely look something like this: http://home.earthlink.net/~customer. We can put your site there. The advantage is that you are already paying for it, so it doesn't cost anything additional.

You can also rent space from a hosting company. The advantage to his is that you can use your own address (ie www.yourbusiness.com). The cost for the name varies depending where you get it, and can be as low as $5 per year. The hosting packages run from $1 to $150 per month (and up) depending on the size of the site and reliabiliy of the host. The general rule is that you get what you pay for. Be suspicious of anything under $20 per month (there are a few good ones, but there are also many that are fly-by-night).

I can host your site on the same server that my sites live on. The cost will vary depending on the size of the site and it's popularity. Contact me for details
